REHearsal schedule
The 2026 Melbourne Passion Play season schedule can be found below.
NOTE: There will be an initial gathering of the cast and crew on the 16th of November 2025. This will be at the College commencing at 12:00 pm with lunch.
- All current cast and crew are required to attend and to encourage the participation of potential new members
- Some character roles may be considered at that time
- Interviews for potential new cast and crew members could also be conducted as requested on the day
- An induction for the 2026 Play will given by the Passion Play Manager
- New scripts will be issued and read at the gathering.
NOTE: The first rehearsal for all cast and crew will be at the CRC Sydenham campus (380 Sydenham Road, Sydenham) on 1st February 2026 starting at 12:00 pm. All cast and crew are required to attend.

Please Note: All potential 2026 cast & crew
- The safety of our volunteers is of the utmost importance to us. A Safety Officer is part of our crew. He is the focal point for any safety issues in relation to the play.
- An Operational Policy is in place.
- Please adhere to College guidelines for the use of their premises. You must remain within the allotted boundaries of the College as explained by the Passion Play Manager.
- Your dedication to your assigned character role is most important. Your performance and that of your colleagues depends on this. Please make every effort to attend all scheduled rehearsals. There may be some flexibility with Roman soldiers.
- All persons intending to take part in the 2026 Passion Play rehearsals and performances must follow the directions of the Director.
- Once rehearsals commence (Sunday, 1st February 2026), it is imperative that all cast be ready to start on time.
