The Melbourne Passion Play is an event eagerly anticipated by spectators; it is also a forum for actors and would-be actors in which to become engaged, thus honing their talents before a very discerning audience. The Melbourne Passion Play has been performed for more than 20 years.

Because of its outdoor setting, the stage is nature itself. Interaction between cast and audience creates constant interest and excitement; this is especially so when the ever-present Roman legionaries demand law and order be maintained under strict orders from their Centurion. The Annual Melbourne Passion Play is an event that everyone should experience at least once in their lifetime. It is something that will remain memorable for a long time.
